Technology with foresight, solutions for tomorrow

Since 1933, Klaas has stood for innovation and practical relevance. Theodor Klaas founded the company as a construction company in Ascheberg, Westphalia. After the Second World War, he developed the first inclined elevator, setting standards in the construction industry.
In 1969, the next generation, Ludger Klaas, joined the company. The trained electrician and master craftsman recognized the potential of aluminum early on and developed the first aluminum crane in 1993. This milestone laid the foundation for international success and for many other special solutions, especially in aerial work platforms.

Klaas remains a family business to this day, now in its fourth generation. With the same pioneering spirit, we develop and manufacture high-performance machines and high-quality special solutions. Over 400 experienced employees and state-of-the-art production facilities form the basis of our work.
