Mobile cranes

The K950 LHX combines a professional and large loading area with the enormous range of our powerful K950. And is therefore an ideal combination machine for building materials logistics specialists as well as for many trades around roofs and facades.

The maximum payload of the all-rounder is almost six tonnes – a value that is unique on the market for a 26-tonne truck on three axles in combination with its crane performance. The newly designed superstructure creates space for eight Euro pallets despite the compact chassis. Since its swing-through radius lies within the mirror contour, the city truck crane can also be used where space is limited.

Equipment

Telescopic winch

  • quick telescoping under load thanks to patented Klaas rope technology

Energy supply

Double derricking cylinders

  • boom raised with low torsion thanks to two luffing cylinders

Twin luffing cylinders

  • folding jib joint is milled "from the solid" and thus enables higher load bearing capacity
  • electronic monitoring in the joint guarantees optimal lifting of loads in any angular position

Automatic levelling

  • the crane is completely set up quickly and easily using the radio remote control
  • each individual support infinitely extends laterally
  • automatic levelling of the support cylinders for optimal set-up even on uneven surfaces
  • constant pressure monitoring reacts to changing outside conditions

Boom system

  • extremely strong and weather-resistant aluminium special alloy with low net weight
  • no strength loss in the welding seam due to stir welding process, joints are as strong as the solid material
  • typical Klaas hole pattern ensures smaller wind-exposed areas, low net weight and high dent resistance

Crane control system

  • complex control system according to EN 280 and EN 13000
  • ultra-modern safety PLC for the crane operation
  • CAN BUS control block for particularly sensitive and accurate work

XL Radio remote control

  • precise starting thanks to sensitive joysticks
  • memory function learns two target points (e.g. where material is on the ground and unloading point on the roof), during which the crane moves in safe hold-to-run mode
  • second display ensures all the crane’s key operating statuses are clearly displayed, such as angle of inclination and rotation, max. lifting capacity, hoisting cable speed
  • power supplied by standard batteries or cable

H-Outriggers

  • fully hydraulic support in conjunction with the ASC support monitoring system enables infinitely variable support widths, also in the direction of the range of action
  • no fixed increments that restrict the operator
  • l-shaped support ensure best possible safety against overturning
  • support without underpinning thanks to long, vertical cylinder
Loading
  • The professional loading area offers space for up to eight Euro pallets.
  • Extra high loading brackets on both sides secure the materials for transport.
  • The middle fastening bar is removable, so the loading area can be opened over the entire length.
  • Integrated lashing rails ensure quick and flexible securing of the load for road transport.

Double hydraulic, telescopic fly jib

  • hydraulic telescoping of the first and second folding top elements via the radio remote control
  • simultaneous extension of both drawers ensures optimum load distribution
  • utilization of the folding tip even in narrow body situations thanks to "extending in the air"

Compact superstructure

Drive concept

  • drive optionally via powerful take-off drive (PTO) from the vehicle or via an electric motor (400 volts, 32 amps)
