Regardless of what training you opt for at Klaas, it lasts three and a half years and is based on the dual (study/work) programme. The content of the on-the-job training and the vocational college is closely linked.

Mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

Mechanics, electronics, control engineering: modern machines are riddled with these technologies. They are interlinked and only their perfect interaction guarantees the desired output within a given time frame and at acceptable costs. As a mechatronics engineer you know how they are connected and will turn your knowledge in material processing, forming, measuring and testing, in pneumatics and hydraulics and in IT into comprehensive specialist knowledge. This will make you an all-rounder for installing, setting, commissioning and maintaining machines and systems.

To successfully be able to start with this training, you should satisfy the following requirements:

  • good grades in mathematics, computer science and works/technology
  • technical understanding and manual dexterity
  • careful and precise method of work
  • ability to adapt to different workplaces and conditions
  • personal initiative, reliability and capacity for teamwork
  • ability to identify complex interrelationships

Prerequisite:

At least secondary school leaving qualification

Precision mechanic (m/f/d) / Machining technology

As a precision mechanic you can also choose our main focus on cutting technology. Here the special focus is on machining processes such as turning and milling. You are directly involved in the planning, production and machining of precision components. You program, operate and control conventional and computer-controlled machine tools such as lathes and milling machines for both individual and series production. As a CNC precision mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring that the parts ordered correspond to the exact dimensions indicated on the technical drawings. With increasing experience, you will learn to literally put the finishing touches to your work.

You are made for the profession of precision mechanic/specialized in cutting technology, if

  • you have a good spatial imagination and mathematical understanding,
  • you like working on computers,
  • you can concentrate well,
  • you've got some craftsmanship,
  • you're willing to work a lot on your feet.

Precision mechanic (m/f/d) / Mechanical Engineering

Precision plays a major part in many professions. For instance, if you work as a precision mechanic. Because in this case you are always not far away when the highest precision to the micrometer is required in tool and machine construction. You take care of small components - whether on computer-controlled machine tools or on precision mechanical devices such as hydraulic control components. To get started, you first receive the order and evaluate the supplied sketches and drawings, plan the workflows and select the appropriate machine tools. Manual machining methods are sometimes just as much in demand as skilful handling of machines: Because the work of a precision mechanic is a great balance between manual work and high-tech.

If you can demonstrate the following, you have come to the right place:

  • good grades in mathematics

Warehouse clerk (m/w/d)

As a warehouse clerk you are a true organisational talent. You accept the goods and check them for completeness and intactness by means of the accompanying documents. You can register the goods on the computer and are responsible for ensuring that the goods are stored. You also compile deliveries for dispatch or forward goods to the appropriate places in the company. You will use various means of work and conveyance, such as a forklift truck.

Notes are not always everything. If you feel like helping out and have the following prerequisites, you're just right for the training of a warehouse specialist:
